Biography
AJ grew up in Pennsylvania where he obtained his bachelor’s in Mathematics from Penn State - WE ARE! He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. AJ continued his educational journey to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), which is an advanced, globally recognized credential denoting a high level of clinical excellence in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. This credential is held by less than 2000 Physical Therapists across the US (and 35 are in Maryland). AJ is also a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist - Dry Needling (CMTPT - DN). As a Certified Clinical Instructor, AJ enjoys working with students from Physical Therapy programs and has done so since 2017. AJ has a strong interest in orthopedics and sports Physical Therapy.Outside of work, AJ enjoys running marathons, skiing, and spending time with his wife and two crazy kids.
